List of Some Alleva~Coppolo Pre~Amp Users
The Alleva~Coppolo Pre amp was Originally designed for our Alleva~Coppolo basses, but the NYC reaction was so great that we had to install them in basses for local players. The preamp is also available in a stomp box version, as pictured below.
The concept of this pre amp is to supply a very thick, warm low end, and clear highs, without any harsh bite. Our years of gigging on all styles of music helped us focus on the aspects of active basses that we liked , and disliked. We found these frequencies to give us the warmth, and clarity we were looking for. From studio and touring musicians alike, we have found that a boost type only EQ works best. A flat EQ setting is achieved by both Bass and Treble controls being set at “0” zero.See the Specs.
